Beer Can Art Design Contest – Waiver of Responsibility and Liability

Participant Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement

By entering and participating in the Beer Can Art Design Contest ("Contest") sponsored by the Perry County Council of the Arts and Lindgren Craft Brewery, I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk
   I understand that participation in the Contest may involve the creation and submission of original artwork and may include the use of various tools, materials, and platforms. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or copyright issues.
2. Release of Liability
   In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Perry County Council of the Arts and Lindgren Craft Brewery, their affiliates, sponsors, partners, officers, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in the Contest, including but not limited to claims of negligence, copyright infringement, or third-party disputes.
3. Original Work
   I affirm that the design I submit is my own original work and does not infringe upon any existing copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights. I understand that I am solely responsible for the content of my submission.
4. Use of Submission
   I grant Perry County Council of the Arts and Lindgren Craft Brewery a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and display my submitted artwork for promotional, marketing, or other contest-related purposes, including online or in print, with appropriate credit.
5. No Guarantee of Winning or Compensation
   I understand that submission does not guarantee selection, prize-winning, or financial compensation. All judging decisions are final and made at the sole discretion of Perry County Council of the Arts and Lindgren Craft Brewery.
6. Compliance with Rules
   I agree to comply with all contest rules and guidelines, and I understand that failure to do so may result in disqualification.
7. Legal Age
   Participants must be at least 21 years of age. By signing below, I affirm that I am at least 21 years old.
